Get rid of the grass, please!

It looks so bad. It looks fake, too. That's just one design issue that needs attention. Let's start with that one for now. More white space would expand and broaden the visual context. That's why magazine pages have white margins, mostly, except where there's a bleed for artistic reasons ... The grass is not art by any stretch.

I dont even really notice the grass except when people keep saying it looks so bad..personally its an ok backdrop for me.

But they just put the new grass in during the last road trip. Elvis and Kinsler say it will just take a little getting used to.

I think it was Nixon that started that war on the grass because it is a gateway drug leading to hard stuff like alcohol. :)

I don't think I even noticed the grass on the site until this thread. :D

I also know I am taking it off target with the Ranger infield reference.

But now that I have gone there I think they replaced it just before the season started. That brings the question to my mind. Just how often do teams replace their grass? Does every team replace their grass multiple times a season or is Texas just a special case because of the heat?
