I need a defensive late inning C for my starter who is poor fielding, but slugs. Which of the above would you choose?

I wonder. The thing about range is that blocking the plate is a HUGE play. While a SB adds or subtracts fractional runs, blocking the plate puts a two-run swing at stake every time it occurs. My educated guess is that this is a coin flip, and that if there is a call to be made, it's probably actually in favor of the range.
I had studies on this, but I think they were in my old blog and have been eaten by ROWDYROWDYROWDYROWDYROWDYROWDY. I'll try to find them...

Interesting. I had considered this a no-brainer in favor of the -3 arm. However, Dean's credentials are the best. I look forward to seeing what his studies say.
