Many of the great strikeout pitchers of the 1960's, have cards with mediocre years in ATG2 or no card at all.

Everyone always thinks of Bob Gibsons 1968 year with the 1.12 ERA.
In comparing strat cards, Luis Tiant's 21-8 1.60 ERA, for a mediocre team in a hitters park, is actually almost as good, and always overlooked and not remembered.

Guidry 78.
Good years from Marichal, Gaylord Perry, Ferguson Jenkins, Nolan Ryan, JR Richard.
Don Mossi who should have been included in our set. More innings I believe than Newhauser and a much better year.
Walter Johnson, Bob Feller and Lefty Grove in their prime. Babe Ruth.
What we will get: probably more of the same and none of the above. I'm betting 80% or more of the cards stay the same. Bernie thinks that's good for business evidently. Perhaps, but not for my business. :x

With all due respect to all the rest the Gibson 68 is special. I want to draft Gibby and go against Pete.

I don't want to settle. I say lets have them all. Give us 48 new teams replacing all the teams worrying less about the whole team and more towards star cards.
Would love to see Johnson 13 and Carlton 72

WJ 303 K's 1.14 era 36-7
How about Carlton 72?? Would you have to draft McCarver to catch for him??

Valen: Having the '68 set myself I agree with others that you're excitement for the '68 Gibson would subside when you see he's quite one-sided (relatively speaking) at a 4R. Compared with the '15 Pete it's no contest. I only have a few seasons, but the '15 Pete is no contest with every pitcher card I have in the '11, '20, '34, '55, & '68 sets.
