2nd and left
I'm playing in a division of pitching parks
Doerr and Yaz
Morgan and Goslin - I can only afford Kaline - but could make some moves...
or Doerr and Yaz
Morgan and ??
The only time I have had Morgan in the past he's hit about 250 and walked a bunch of times - had about a .667 on steals....

It would be good to post a link to your team, sometimes you need to see the whole team to make a decent judgement
1) go to your league statistics page
2) click on your team
3) when it gets to your team page, copy the URL
4) paste URL here
:)
Here's the link

If it were me...
I would first drop sewell for a nickel backup, thus saving 2.01 mill. Pesky is almost bullet proof, as having over 680 pa's, he can only get hurt for the balance of the game. Brooks and Doerr are both 3 game max, so anything over .5 for a backup is wasted $$ IMO.
That would give you 2.56 mill to spend. I would drop Doerr, and pick up Doran. Still a 1 (e19 instead of e13), and saves you another 1.22 mill. Neither will hit great, so why not spend a bit less to upgrade elsewhere? I would keep Yaz over Goslin for sure, and perhaps use the extra $$ to upgrade at 3b or catcher. you have 3.38 mill. Options could include
3B
Rosen (great in griff)
Boyer
C
Kling
battey
tebbetts
I really did not answer your original question i guess, but in checking your fa, I don't see morgan available...
Just a few suggestions. Lots of ways to "skin the cat", but I would certainly drop sewell as a backup, the extra $$ gives you more options.
my .02
mtarbell - thanks

Was staring at a trade for yaz-morgan
didn't feel good about it - got doran and rosen - upgraded my bullpen (two good setup guys for Eck)
My original thought was to platoon Brooks and Sewell at 3b with Brooks coming in as a defensive late inning replacement when Sewell starts (I have this thing about defense) Sewell has such a great obp but he hits left and is an 3L which made the decision to dump for Rosen easier -
Thanks - i hope it works out - I've been one of the big parks in other leagues playing 46 fenway and Dunns so this is my first real adventure in a yellowstone league.
Had and still have Gallego - the super sub in the if and Hatcher in the of - and Belardi as my lh pinch hitter
