ATG 1. A trip down memory lane...

Was bored over the weekend, and was perusing some of my ATG 1 teams. Do you remember...
From the '82 Angels -
* D. Decinces, power hitting 3b
* B. Downing, an in game injury only OF with 0 errors
* A. Hassler, the ATG 1 version of J. Sambito
* On Base machine R. Carew
From the '88 A's -
* an AWESOME J. Canseco card!
* a balanced D. Henderson patrolling CF
* Utility man T. Phillips, an on base machine vs LHs, for .50
* a Mark McGwire card that had a chance to hit .250
* G. Cadaret and E. Plunk, both bargains at .50
* An R2 D. Eckersley card, almost as good as in ATG2, with a -3 hold rating.
From the '60 Pirates -
* A Roberto Clemente card with that -6 bazooka, AND a 3 game injury risk. (The 7L was awkward, but with the right platoon...)
* A nice Dick Groat card at SS.
* Maz's slick 1e11 at 2b, with a .712 OPS.
* RP R. Face.
From the '84 Mariners -
* power hitting 1b K. Phelps (a cheaper version of W. Covington)
* P. Bradley as a cheap leadoff guy vs RHs
From the '42 Cardinals -
* SP M. Cooper
* a J. Beazley card that was very usable
* an E. Slaughter card that usually had him in somebody's top 5 draft card.
From the '74 Rangers -
* J. Burroughs wearing out LHs
* T. Harrah and L. Cardenas as the RH parts of some nice platoons
* M. Hargrove's nice on base card
* A Fergie Jenkins cards that ALWAYS seemed to underperform!
* Foucault was a decent RP.
Man, do we need ATG 3! :)
