hal strikes again/ geekor box score posted

hal does it to me one more time. last night start a 1950-80 league. game 1 dock ellis on the mound for me, has a no hitter thru the top of 7th. 98 pitches thrown 1 walk. so near perfect game. well bottom of 7th with me up 1 to 0 at this point, i get 2 one and 2 out with the eigth batter up. they intentional walk him to get to ellis the 9th hitter. does hal let him hit because he has the no hitter? or does he pinch hit to try and break game open. he lets him hit. which he makes a out. so ellis is gonna take the mound for the eigth? nope a sub comes in and lets a run in. so now my team comes up to try and win, well 2 out and willie jones on. yes d base stealer willie jones. team setting on conserv. and jones never steal he misreads the sign and takes off. he was out by a city block. and team comes up top of next inning and scores again. i go 3 outs and lose. If you had Jones set to never steal it was a failed hit and run.
