Your biggest problem is the competiton ....... :)

Here's a few things I noticed...it looks like McMahon is getting the ball quite a bit, and that's never a good thing. Your pitchers, Roberts and McNally, give up too many ballpark HRs to pitch in a hitters' division like yours. Why is Palmer getting so many innings? Do you have Roberts and McNally on quick hook?

Offensively, I'm not sure you've got the right personnel there either. Your defense is suspect all over the field, and you have only one legit HR hitter in Banks. You have some good OBP guys, but Jackson and Robinson are injury risks...looks like Robinson has already missed some time. Jackson is way underperforming.

Bottom line, your team just isn't a good match for your division.

What can you do? I'd probably drop Luderus for N.Cash, D.Cash for Evers, and probably Schalk for Parrish too. That improves your D at 2B and gives you two needed HR hitters. I'd then look at my money situation and either replace McMahon, or upgrade either Roberts or McNally to a pitcher with less BPHRs.

Just my $.02. Hopefully you'll get feedback from vets with more rings than me.

I don't mind your pitching staff for a pitchers park. However, your defense is the culprit. A 3 at 2nd base is only tolerable if you have 1s at most other positions. You don't have a single 1 other than Schalk, since Shoeless is playing in RF. I would guess you are giving up at least an extra half run per game because of the defense. I would move Robinson to first, Jackson to LF, look for a different RF, and swap out Cash for Evers or even Frank White.
