Proving Yogi's Law that "90% of SOM is luck, the other half is good dice rolls", a league I was in had a 77-win squad win the title. My team of course won 91 and missed the playoffs.

Keep in mind this was a season of no server breakdowns.

I wish TSN/SOM would follow the same rules as MLB, in that two teams from the same division can't play each other in the first round of the playoffs. That would reduce, though not completely eliminate, the chances of this happening. All teams in the playoffs should have a shot at winning, but the teams with the best records should have the best shot. Too many times I've seen the two most dominant teams in a league be from the same division, only to have to meet in the first best of 5.

What is the point of the last post? It's uncalled for, and definitely not in the spirit with which most of us participate in the forums and games.

bcp.... i sort of ignored that post... it isn't about anything written in this thread, or at least i wasn't able to make a link with anything said... that plus the annoying ALL CAPS made me decide it was a little kid goofing off on his dad's account or something.

thats one of the nice thing about this site.....we don't have much of that sort of thing
