howie is great. I always like to have at least one lefty in my rotation and I try to make it Pollet or Kaat.
Howie is like Pfiester-light.
Pollet/Dean/Hughson are my fave pitchers in that price range. Take those three and stick Boyd on the end and you have, I think, the best rotation for the $$ you could ask for.

Munich Man, thanks. Dean and Hughson are 2 personal favorites as well. And I like Vuckovich as a Cheap #4.

If you like Vuck, you'll LOVE Boyd. A bit more, but his historicals are right up there with Dean. Not bad for under 4 mil.
