How do the following players go undrafted:
Snider
Cobb
Musial
Yaz
A.Simmons
Banks
Aaron

I have the #5 waiver pick so I will get a stud but I could have drafted one of these guys. It's funny how you don't put guys on your draft card becasue you assume you won't get them. I do this than kick myself hard!

What's equally unheard of is the fact that the highest priced pitcher remaining on the FA wire is Koosman!

Guys, I too was blown away when I saw who was on the wire. I'm 6th in waivers so it'll be interesting to see how it shakes out.

Because so many teams are going "small-ball", I've seen some very similar waiver wires. I've seen Mays so many times recently that I've started putting him on my draft card at 2 or 3 - AND HAVE BEEN GETTING HIM!!! Others that have started to become easier to get are Banks & Hornsby. In fact, almost anyone 10 mil or over is becoming easier to get.

Agree with Frank....I usually like bomber teams, but in a recent league (one we are in together Coach) i saw a similar scenario....figures! I went with a pitching team for a "change of pace"!! Salivated when i saw all of the offensive STUDS that went undrafted ...MAYS included!

I think you guys are right, the Smallball craze has taken over for the time being, it just seems that everytime I go Longball, so does everyone else.

This was my worst auto-draft EVER. I got 2 SP, 2 RP, my 1B, my 3B, and 2 back-ups. Even with the # 2 waiver pick, I'm not sure this team can be salvaged.

Offensively, I'm pretty happy. It's the pitching that I'm worried about.

I got a very high % of my key players and still ended up 6th in waivers, and I built a smallball team and there's all those great hitters ......
