I have 3.90 or so to spend. Who would be my best cheaper option as a 4th starter in Dodger 65: Robin Roberts, Gary Bell, Juan MArichal. HAve Dizzy Dean, Hughson & Knepper.......

Robin Roberts is pretty decent. Is Boyd available? If so, I'd take him instead.

I'd take Bell out of those 3 choices.

If the "or so" means you can go up a little, you can add Wilson, Kaat and O'Dell to the list.

wilson & kaat also gone, o'dell is still there. could swing O'dell if I downgrade Konstanty to Tincup (also have Richert, PAttin, & Wade in pen)

I prefer Tincup over Konstanty regardless...

Hunter

A current example of Hunter in Dodger 65.

Opponents only hit .225 against him with 27 homers, second fewest of the four starters.

then would a Rotation of Dizzy, Hughson, Knepper, Hunter, with a pen of Richert, Tincup, Henke, & PAttin (along with Wilks & Roe) be strong enough? I've got 2 Sportsman'46 teams and a briggs (2 yankee 56 in other divisions). Or should I shoot for 2 of those RP's & try to upgrade Hughson into the 9 or 10M range?

Roberts would be my choice of what's available.
