Try him out, Brock/J Alou can be a potent and productive LF combo. Brock's OBP is not high though, but he brings good power and of course lots of speed. Defense would not be great, however, but for $4.5M in a pitchers park they would produce a lot of offense.

Here's a recently concluded one for Forbes: Ave. .297, SLG .431, OBP .329. That's on 529 ABs, all against right handers (of course).
