Bobby pulled a Bode

One of Bobby's 12 new "discount" teams apparently pulled a Bode Miller on Opening Night Monday night. His bomber team w/ the Babe, the Duke, Campanella, Cepeda and Bando scored 3 runs in the series (all in one game he won 3-2) and was shutout by Babe Adams (CG) and a three-hit combined shutout by Dave Dravecky and Gene Nelson.
Of course, one thing I've learned from on-line SOM, u can never "discount" Bobby's team over the course of 162 games.

Yeah, Bobby will have his guys well fed and loosy goosy for that series. Campanella just went down for 5 games but should return in time to be behind the plate.
I am not Hindu or Buddhist, so the threat of bad karma is incidental. The threat of the Babe, the Duke and their cohorts at the Polo Grounds is very real.
