Whitaker a ring?

Have had several teams with Trammel that won rings, and have had Trammel often hit his card, but have never had Whitaker hit his card or win a ring---anyone?

He didn't hit his card, though. It was a theme league, split by eras... I doubt you'll ever see another championship team with Whitaker and Barfield. :)

Here is a Champ team with Whit at 2B platooning with Maz. The team did well despite Lou. :)

I use him a lot with Maz, cheap, good fielding, decent platoon at 2B. He is sometimes prone to the .240 BA and .289 OBP though. HAL's inability to handle platoons well hurts him sometimes as he ends up getitng a lot of ABs vs LHs.

Team only went 82-80, but won their division and went on to win it all in the playoffs. Whitaker platooned with Javier. I use Sweet Lou Whitaker a fair amount, and he usually turns in decent to good seasons for me. :)

Picked him up as a FA after getting Doerr in a trade for Doran(among others in that deal) and Doerr was terrible. After Whitaker came aboard, the team started winning and he was hot at first, then trailed off to the numbers you see here.
