Tomorrows the day i've been waiting 3 months for. Taking out the old knee and putting in a new one. Unfortunately, i've been on leave so long my insurance changed and they can no longer cover the titanium knee.
On the bright side they said they would pay for a fibreglass one. :P
Anyway, for all those who i am in leagues with, my teams will all be on autopilot for the next 2 or 3 days, Unless my wife is able to hook her laptop up to the phone in my room. The only thing that bothers me about missing is the injury substitutions. With my luck, HAL will have Pete playing SS.

Good Luck with the knee Dave, get home soon. You'll be as good as new before you know it. Well at least you'll be mobile without pain 8)

David, good luck to you, hope everthings turns out alright for you. :) Spoke to a woman the other day who had knee replacement surgery and she said it was the best thing she's ever done. I'll try not to win to many games against your guys.

Best of luck on your knee replacement. My wife's mother had it done and after getting through recovery she says she wished she'd done it years earlier.
Hoping those better days ahead come very soon for you,
Charlie

Best of luck to you. Hope all goes well. I'll tell my guys to take it easy (NOT) on your guys while you are away, for those leagues we are in together. :)

Thanks for the support guys! Very appreciated. Got back yesterday but the meds have been making me too woosey to do much. Still working on "pain management." My wife changed my dressing last night and I had assumed the "puffy look" was due mostly to the wrap. I was suprised to see their was very little gauze wrapping, it was almost all my knee. Thing looks like I swallowed a melon. I'm just hoping I can get things under control by April 10th which is opening day at Tiger Stadium. (Can't get used to Comerica Park!) Good to be home and back in the SOM hunt for those elusive titles! :D
