I am currently in a Theme League which is a blast and thought I would start another.

Here are the rules...
1 - Pick your favorite Franchise. Some franchises have 4 teams, some have 3, some have 2 and some have 1.

2 - When you Autodraft, you pick 1 Year from your Franchise Teams (i.e., Boston 03 as your Base Team). You must use the stadium and all players from that Base Team.

3 - You can also Autodraft 2 Players from one or more of your other Franchises (i.e. Boston 03 is your Base Team, with T.Williams & C.Yastrzemski in the Autodraft). Note, teams with only one year will not be able to autodraft additional players.

4 - Fill your team with players from your Base Team. If you do not have enough Pitchers and/or Hitters, fill your team with $.50M Players from your other Franchise Years. If you still do not have enough, fill your team with $.50M players from the Un-chosen Franchises.

5-We will set divisions based on Geographic location (EAST - Boston, Philadelphia, NY Yankees, Baltimore, NY Mets, Montreal, Toronto, Washington - CENTRAL - Pittsburgh, Detroit, Saint Louis, Chicago Cubs, Chicago W.S., Cincinnati, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Minnesota - WEST - LA & Brooklyn, San Fran & NY Giants, Oakland, Houston, Kansas City, San Diego). If all EAST Team are picked, we will still set divisions by Geographic Location.

6-After the autodraft, all players in the FA pool can be drafted by any team regardless of what franchise they belong to. This is how the draft works....

After Week 1 (after Friday's records are posted). .

The team with the worst record gets to pick up three (3) Free Agents. Each team picks up Free Agents (Worst to First)

The bottom four (4) Teams get to pick up three (3) Free Agents in order.
Then the next four (4) Teams get to pick up two (2) Free Agents
Then the best four (4) Teams get to pick up one (1) Free Agent

Tie Breaker for Records is RS-RA=Run Diferential.

This Weekly Worst to First Free Agent Drafting is how a Team like Kansas City 80 can catch the NY Yankees and the Multi-year Teams.

All Teams are set up as $200M Teams with a DH, and the Worst to First Free Agent Draft Takes place every week (until the system does not permit player moves). Trading is encouraged.

We can begin to pick up Free Agents anytime after Friday nights results are posted and we must finish before Saturday Nights games are played. Please try to check in and use Proxies if you think you will hold the FA pickup up on Saturday.

Are we drafting franchises fcfs or via a draft with the order by lottery pick?

Since a lottery wasn't mentioned, I assumed fcfs. Not a big deal though. I'm in either way.

We are drafting Franchise first come first serve...It is all strategy...You may want to draft the Yankees and start off with a huge lead in the league...but you will probably only pick up one free agent every week.

However, you may want to draft Monteal...be in last place every week and get to have the choice of 3 free agents every week.
