I am somewhat of a rookie compared to the number of teams most of you have had. This team did not do as well as I expected. Please advise as to players (pitchers and position) as well as a ballpark that would compliment the team. Thanks in advance for your help and expertiece.

One more try Pat. Go to the stats page of your league, click on your team and copy the URL from that. It should have a five-digit number at the end.

The HORROR! I hit the link and called up the last of MY teams I was looking at, a team with a 48-111 record.

Pitchers like Drysdale and Grant are best saved for parks like Forbes or Griffith, where they will not be punished by ball park homers. Seek pitchers without ball park homers when in parks which allow them with relatively high frequency.

A couple of things to consider:
Eckersley is outstanding -- but by using him, more than 80 percent of your relief innings went to your 50-cent relievers while you spent almost 80 percent of your RP budget on less than 20 percent of your innings.
You can get enough multiposition players to cover your substitution needs with a 13-man offense. That frees up $1 million for an upgrade somewhere.
