Lots of good managers in that league. Off the top of my head there were Frank Bailey, Nev, Crabby Appleton who each won 94!! Broken 24 is no slouch either and won 91 but only finished 3rd in the Nev, Frank division. Ouch.

Must have gotten the steroidal Morgan version. I have used Morgan several times, and always been underwhelmed. He's usually in the .250 Avg area for me, although his OB% is usually decent, and he'll hit some dingers in hitters parks. I just accept his less than stellar stats for his great D and speed from the #1 or #2 spot. First time I've seen Morgan "earn" his salary. Nice season!

I thought you didn't like Morgan.
You certainly had the touch putting your lineup together with this bunch. Congratulations.

Morgan in DUNN:
Morgan, J. L 2B 1e13 587 139 31 19 86 138 46 19 .329 .513 .455 2R 10.07M
Stan the man(?) on the same darn team!
Musial, S. L 1B 2e17 640 99 46 8 110 83 7 19 .330 .505 .401 E 9.86M
Thats, 19 (!) HRs for Morgan, and 8 for Stan?!?!?!?
Team went 85-77 (missed PO's)

Barry Bonds was the team trainer.
I was gonna mention Kubiak. He may have had the most anomalous season of all!
I've argued conceptually that Morgan is the best second baseman in the deck. Unfortunately he seems to suffer from the "too many walks on his card syndrome" that besets some of the top players in ATG and I think this is what produces the .260 seasons he is prone to end up with. It's too bad...

I, once a Morgan scoffer, am now a convert. Petrosian convinced me to keep him on an early bomber team, and he has been a fixture on any of my successful teams ever since. Never hits for a great avg (usually 260-290), but obp always in the 425+ range, scores tons of runs, and of course plays great defense. When I miss him, even adding an eddie collins type, my bomber teams just are not as competitive.....
but MAN!! Never had a season like THAT out of him!!! Way to go Petrosian, nice season!
