Bomber Parks

I see others in bomber parks have SP's that barely break 2mil and the RP's are the high end. What do you look for in SP's for these kinds teams? Is there a middle ground when you have pitcher parks like Forbes, Candelstick and others in the division?

When building a bomber team, I use one of two types of pitching staffs. A bunch of sub $1.00 mill starters with low BP HR's and a good strong pen. Or a staff of $3.00-$5.00 starters with low BP HR's and a medium pen.

Low ball park homers, max 1 each side helps. Also one great starter 8mil plus, in case you make the playoffs. Low walks, good hold and use the extra money for more on base, d, hrs and speed! simple huh!!

Do you ever carry an ace around $7.00 or is that money better spent elsewhere?

I've been playing bomber parks more and more. I make the playoffs pretty regularly but lose in the first round because I don't match up pitching wise. I like Clemens, Cy Young even Bob Lemon. Lefty Leifield is a steal at 7 mil. Si is Bill Dineen at 8.? mil. Then if you make the p offs you have a great starter to pitch twice in that series.

Ames is a * sp...

I play alot of bomber teams, rarely spend more than 1.5 mil on a starter (will occassionally use Demarree), and a good, but not spectacular pen, concentrating on low/no bphrs, usually going 7 deep in my sp's, giving me better match up options, then 3 decent to good rp's.

I like to save as much $$ as i can for HITTING! :)

If your at FW 67 . Good SP w/ * are Demaree , Bagby Sr, Nolan , Bell . The cheapies are just to cheap for me . They get lit up to often and its hard to score 7-10 runs every game .
