Ladder Challenge Theme

Basics:

1. The goal is to get 36 participants.
2. First Round: Everyone would simultaneously compete in three leagues.
3. Upon completion of those three leagues players would be ranked.
4. Second Round the Top 12 would be in the A league, the next 12 in the league and the last 12 in the C League.
5. For the third and subsequent rounds the last place team in each division in the A league would drop into the Bleague and the B league Division winners would move up to the A league. Bottom 3 in League B would drop to C and the Top3 from C move up to B.
6. Expansion is possible.
7. Format for the first three leagues to be determined but I have some ideas I will throw out there if there is any interst in this.
8. Format for subsequent drafts would be from a set of a few options and chosen by league winners or the team with the best record from the previous round.

Yes this is vague and yes there are already tour commitments so I will not be surprised if this garners little interest but want to throw it out there without spending too much time on the details until it might look like there is actual interest.

With a few interested I will start finalizing and perhaps tweeking the setup. Suggestions are encouraged.

Some thoughts: If I stay with three leagues for Round 1 do any of these sound good or bad:

1. An autodraft, a live draft and an auction.

2. A regular Live Draft and two leagues where the live draft is broken into 2 groups of six. One group of six does there live draft and then the other 6 draft from the leftovers in a secondary live draft. Everyone would be in the first 6 once and the second six in the other.
