My three best pitchers (stat wise) are my three cheapest pitchers, what the heck is going on with this team?

Any thoughts or suggestions???

well, some of it is bad luck. Your run differential indicates you should be more like 20-25 than 15-30. I like your pitching, it just isn't performing. I always struggle to get the 5-man rotations to perform to their cards, not sure why. But I have actually stopped using them it got so bad. Good balance of L/R hitters, and nobody is underperforming too badly, except maybe Doerr. I really think just bad luck. Maybe shuffle the line-up a little? Sorry I don't have better advice

Clearly your pitching is WAY underperforming, LHs especially are hurting your staff. Doerr seems like a waste here, and that idea is bearing fruit.

Suggest you dump Doerr, get Yerkes and maybe Heintz or a better LH RP. Things will get better, but the team is in a big hole.

I have just about given up on this approach, here is my similar Polo team.

Checkout Selkirk and Pesky, their OBP is just killing me.

These type teams just seem to fragile if not hitting on all cylinders.

Sometimes, I just don't get it ....

Is it the Mystery Card syndrome???

Or the predetermined by HAL failure???

I've juggled the lineup, but am certainly willing to listen to ideas if anyone has some ...... :(

And yes, Doerr is killing me big time, I think I've dropped him to 8th in the order both ways.

I've gotten those seasons outta Pesky, but never seen Selkirk THAT BAD before.

And, you're right sschu, I've said it many times ... Hitting teams are impossible to beat when they're hitting, but when they aren't they don't stand a chance of winning.
