While I am an ardent ATG player, two or three times a year I will stray over to the dark side and play with the modern ballplayers.

I happen to be in a league with the esteemed Abner Doubleday, as solid a player and as fine a gentleman as you'll find in this community. While I have seen Pete Vuckovich throw a no-hitter against Sandy Koufax and other assorted oddities as those mentioned here, I have never seen anything quite as strange this Game 3 (following two losses) in last night's series with Abner DD.
