tailoring your pitchers to away parks

tailoring your pitchers to away parks

I have a team where I'm in a pitchers park, all my division rivals in slugger havens. I hate that. :x So I'm trying to walk the line, getting guys who are versatile enough to do okay in both.

My current rotation, for what it's worth:

Mayer
Derringer
Lolich
Sanderson

Pollet, Demaree, Ferris, Buhl available. Or I could get an assortment of cheap guys--Ceccarelli, Ruether, Leever, Hunter--and try to tailor them to wherever I'm playing.

Not sure how to handle it. Any advice?

My suggestion would be to get 4 guys who have 1 or 2 BP HR's on their cards, they'll do better at home than away but they'll do O.K. on the road too. And the BP HR's will reduce their price for you.
