Sobering, confirming, yet enlightening and rather reassuring

If you ever feel like you're about played out here, or for some reason you lose sight of the fact that you're in the right place, then I have the cure. Go scan a few of the other forums TSN offers here. You'll never leave the safety of ATG again...

Man, what an understatement. "The Bullpen" is especially downright frightening.

One word, Ty - Vegas.
I entered the Fantasy football boards once, but I forgot to pay the babysitter on the way in, so the other kids narced.

I seldom go there myself. Everytime I read some of the comments in some of the threads I want to scream WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU THINKING??? Then I take a deep breath and remember I'm here for the baseball. If I wanted a political argument I would spend the afternoon at my folks!

I've scanned the Bullpen forum once or twice. Never posted there. Too much vemon, name calling, etc. Like others have said, I come here to play "ball", and enjoy friendly banter with other baseball fans. Discussing politics, religion, etc. is always a volatile undertaking, and one I usually find frustrating and not worth the grief.
