Oh what a weekend!!!

Oh what a weekend!!!

Postby boss_of_um » Mon May 08, 2006 12:29 pm

I usually do not have multiple teams start at the same time, but a couple of months ago I had 3 teams start play (back when there was a discount on the 5 packs) and they recently concluded their seasons. All 3 of the teams reached the playoffs and won rings. I am sure other people have won multiple rings on the same weekend but I felt like going 3 for 3 was worth mentioning. Here are the teams for those interested:

Mother of All Frenzies winner:

Another team lead by Joe D ($100 mil no DH)

TSN public league with some quality managers :

The teams went a combined 21 and 8. This concludes a nice streak of 7 rins in 13 teams. One more team starts the playoffs tonight 9my first attempt at Yankee 56).

Watch out for Munich Man. He'll drown you in suds and give himself carpal tunnel congratulating you for that run.

Great job.

That's me, waving congratulations as I peel myself off the ground and try to wash off the tire treads and get the license plate of the truck that ran over my 94 win team. Great job, Boss.

Boss,

I've had a similar recent playoff run.

In the last two nights ...

1) I've gone 1-7 in the playoffs.

2) Had TWO teams lose the finals despite leading the series 3-1.

3) Lost game 7 at home (Griffith) when Roger Clemens was outpitched by the immortal MIKE CALDWELL.

4) And, started off two more series last night by going 1-3.

Yep, I'd say you and me are mirror images of each other .... [b:3c2172d41b]OH WAIT EVERYTHING IS THE OPPOSITE IN THE MIRROR !!!!!!! [/b:3c2172d41b]
