Who do I pick?

Who do I pick?

Postby CHRISTIANSTOUGH » Thu May 11, 2006 7:57 pm

I'm 3rd on the waiver wire

I'm in Forbes

I face Dunn, Shibe and Stick

DO I go for Stan the Man, Joe Morgan or Pete Alexander or Phister

My bullpens about set, I'v got Brown and 5 of my 8 starters filled (and darn good ones I'd say)

WHo do I try to pick up on the wiaver wire and any suggestions for other picks

Except for Bailey, you have a very good offense for Forbes.

I think if you can get Pete, it's worth having him, otherwise Musial. I would also probably go for a catcher like Cochrane or O'Neil, if they're available. I'm a big Derringer fan at #3 or Bob Gibson's good too.

Definitely Pete!

Grover Cleveland is hardly ever available. Grab him. He will ROCK in Forbes. He generally pitches well anywhere. I'm stunned that he was not taken in the AD. I have only gotten him once and that was in a theme league and I was the only one eligible to have him. :)

Having said that, since you have the third pick it is doubtful that you will even get him. You're second choice should be Musial.

Good luck.

Go for Gary Carter. He is the #1 choice for catcher at Forbes. After looking at your wire, Pete and Musial are likely to go 1/2.

Look at the 2 teams infront of you and see what their overall 1st pick would be in your opinion if it was your team . If team 1 needs a 2B more than anything else and has the money for Morgan then he probably will take him . Etc Etc .
