I've never won, so take this wiht a grain of salt....
I see no SB's outside of Evers at the Stick, so maybe Boggs works at the top?

RHP
Boggs
Valentine
Mays
Cooper
McCosky
Evers
Schalk

Valentine would be good in the 5 spot against LHP, but you may have to move Bowa up to #2 to make that work. I like Evers at 7 or 8.

You could switch Bowa and Evers in the 2 hole, and hope HAL has them bunt and H&R a lot?

Good luck!
Bowa

mccosky is good enough to leadoff also. consider that, he wont steal but he has good baserunning speed.

Hmm, you have some issues, no good 2 hole hitter hurts. I like Boggs hitting 3rd and Mays 4th, Boggs 2Bs behind some speed is good. But I would avoid Bowa or Evers hitting 2nd.

Suggest:

vs LHs/RHs
McCoskey
Boggs
Mays
Valentine/Cooper
Cooper/Valentine
Schalk
Evers
Bowa

Option:
McCoskey
Bowa or Evers (hit & run more, bunt more)
Boggs
Mays
Valentine/Cooper
Cooper/Valentine
Schalk
Bowa or Evers

Your very low OBP hurts, might consider a trade of Cooper or Valentine for a speedy OBP guy if you can. OBP is hard to come by after the season starts ..... and before for that matter!
