My preference, provided I get in, is for the full 18 round live draft.

Right now, there are several pre-card live drafts going on for 2007. 12-round live drafts with a 24-hour clock there and in past cases seem to run 2-2.5 weeks.

I'd rather 18 rounds as well.

I have no problem delaying the start nor drafting at a leisurely pace to help accomodate everyone's schedules. Would much rather not start anything until all ev7 leagues have finished. My strat time is spotty during the holidays.

BTW, happy holidays to all. Thnx Tee for all your work.

18 rounds--5 votes
9 rounds--1 vote
5 rounds--1 vote

It seems I'm a tad outnumbered. :)

In all seriousness, I'm completely out January 12-27...virtually no access at all. I'm going to an international community development training that will literally be held in cabins for the majority of the time. How do people feel about a slow 18-round draft completely stalling for 2 weeks then resuming on the 28th and the league most likely not starting until February 4? I'm not asking this question sarcastically. I'm honestly curious how people feel about it. I would feel a little frustrated if it were someone else. If people would rather I not participate because of the potential conflict, I would like to drop out now so someone else has a chance to compete.

No probs at all on my end. Even if the league starts early February, we'll still be done before the new game is launched. Good timing there, eh? 8)

I'm all for a leisurely pace on the draft.

Yes it can get a little frustrating, but if there is a set time period (say 24 hrs) I don't think it will be any more frustrating than times on penn's site where someone didn't appropriately have thier proxies set.

I had one draft (in fact it was either league one or two this season) where one guy just could not figure out the proxies. We had to wait for days because we had already skipped him twice. This was a regular occurance.

I've got no problems with taking the time to do it right.

Also, as long as I'm spouting useless info - I like the idea of the seeds. (And I'm saying that from the number 11 spot)

If everyone seems fine for an 18 round draft that will finish 1 month after it starts, I'm game. Personally I'd prefer a shorter draft, but no problem. Maligned, you have my vote for 5.

I'm okay with a long draft. Let's start as soon as we can, so it will end sooner. Are the top 12 positions final now?

With 27 games to go, Kangawomby could finish 22-5, win the wildcard and win the championship. This would unseat kaviksdad.

For seeding: With 27 games to go, a 15-12 record plus a championship would get qksilver the #2 pick and seed. A 20-7 record plus a finals appearance would also earn the #2 seed for him.
