Terry101 Clinches Top Spot!

With his nearest rivals having finished Event 7, [b:f260242abc]Terry101[/b:f260242abc] has unofficially clinched 1st place in the final Tour standings. Congratulations on a job well done!
Meanwhile, despite a strong effort in Event 7, it appears that [b:f260242abc]cristano1[/b:f260242abc] was crowing about his Tour dominance (see thread below) before his rooster was fully hatched! He has clinched 2nd place, edging [b:f260242abc]Detroit-Tigers[/b:f260242abc] by a slim tenth of a point. Congrats also to [b:f260242abc]Roscodog, AZHawg, keyzick[/b:f260242abc] and [b:f260242abc]James Schubert[/b:f260242abc], all of whom appear to be safely in the Champions League!
It's still a bit early to start counting their chickens for any of the other 6 current Top 12 managers. Probably most of them will remain there, but at least one will have to sit out, as they include 3 now tied for the final 2 spots, and all 6 are still at least mathematically vulnerable.
Another 6 managers not currently in the Top 12 still appear to have at least a mathematical shot at dislodging one of the vulnerables.

Looks like your arithmetic is ok, but you appear to be dropping 2 low scores for managers (including yourself) who played 7 events. You only get to drop one. Then divide the total by 5 or 6, depending on whether 6 or 7 events were played.
In your case, after dropping your low score of 82 for Ev5, your remaining 6 scores total 576. Divide by 6 = 96.0.

ok i see... i read the rules incorrectly.... thought only five scores counted..... doh!
