Is this where we wish to pick in the draft? Can I presume we got 1-12 then 12-1? If that is so, I will take 11. If not, I will take 2.

You got it Marklen, draft is serpentine style, 1-12, 12-1, 1-12, etc.

The draft site is at www.somdraft.com. Whoever sets up the draft will get you fixed up with a password on the site. (Same for anybody else new to the site.)

The draft is 16 rounds (15 players plus stadium). The rules allow 3 hours for each pick, before you can be skipped and have to make up the pick later (but I think 2 hours was agreed last year). The clock is off until everybody makes their first pick, also off on weekends, and 10pm to 10am, EST.

Don't worry, there are instructions and plenty of folks here I'm sure will be happy to answer any draft site questions once we get there. Learning to load "proxies" to fire when you can't make picks in person is the big (but easy) item.

Hey there guys!

First of all Congratulations to all 12 for having made it to the finals! Fine fine bunch of SOM-o'ites here :)

Second, my apologies for the radio silence, I have been very much aware of the season coming to an end and the playoffs starting, unfortunately I have been logging a few 20 hr days at work and it's been a real struggle to keep cyber duties on track.

I am very glad we've gotten underway with this "draft" to determine the Finals' Live Draft Order. Thank you for setting it up and seeing that we march on smoothly to the Championship.

So, now as far as rulings. Yes, 200 Ip remains in effect [i:a939bf83f3][b:a939bf83f3]through[/b:a939bf83f3][/i:a939bf83f3] the semi-finals AND Finals. an automatic DQ will take effect if anyone goes over it. I will monitor with Bernie the finals' league and I am sure we'll be able to address this issue setting up for the playoffs if needed BUT I know we all intend to adhere by the rules and that such scenario will never arise with classy guys like yourselves. BTW, I want to thank ALL 36 Semi final managers for making sure that not a single reliever exceeded the 200 IP rule... we had some close calls but all came in under 200. :)

As far as rankings. Semifinal results are NOT added to the qualifying rounds total, the rankings going into this pre-draft draft is taken from final standings, in other words ya'll got it right on the money :)

So, now, W/O further ADO... let's roll!!!
