:(

Ouch, SavGuy, your pick of Matsui really, really hurts. I'm reloading...

See, all the proxies then fired down to CASmith, so we hope he's back. I'm PMing him now.

Matsui

Postby savguy73 » Tue Jun 20, 2006 6:49 pm

Cubit,

I'm just trying to give stonehands Ortiz some protection in the lineup. I had a lower ranked lf'er in my original plans, but Mesquiton grabbed Giles (RF) and I needed to find another solid left fielder. I know, quite a drop in protection value from Giles. I was also eyeing Glaus.

This is a lot more fun then I thought it would be. Thank goodness the firewall at work was taken down!

All my picks have been by proxy so far. Thanks for explaining the group thing, I'll know how to pick better in the late rounds.

Are we going back into a rain delay after two hours? I'm not complaning. I just want to know what your plans are. Everybody has problems sometimes. I don't have a clue what CASmith is doing. It could be something way more important than Strat. I don't mind the hold up.
I just want to have some fun. :)

Going off-line for a while

Postby savguy73 » Tue Jun 20, 2006 7:47 pm

I'll be back on midday central time tomorrow (Wednesday). I have 12 proxies in with 15 picks 'til me, so I hope there won't be a delay.

Thanks folks. I've got a PM into teepack.

CASmith has not been this kind of player in the past to my knowledge and I would really like to believe he'll be back at any moment, but no one should leave 11 other folks high and dry repeatedly.

He made his pick for the fourth round at 9:29. Now he is still up for round five.

Todd Helton, too. Nice 4th round grab. I cannot understand it, and hopefully we'll see a Round 5 pick in minutes, but since his time has expired, Cummings2 is up.

Kelly, Cummings is up next. You have his "dinger" password and next pick, with instructions to skip when appropriate, right? CASmith is over an hour past his time, and we've been way more considerate of him than he's been of the rest of us. If he can't be bothered even to let us know what's going on, why should we wait any longer? Please skip him so the rest of us can get on with it!

Hey mesquiton,

I don't have specific instructions aside from the Castillo pick. But, he does have proxies loaded and on. So, I assume they will be picked so he is good to go. Also, do you have to have admin rights to skip a player (CASMITH)?
