When it is your turn to pick, the site will just give you the highest-rated player on the draft list. The problem with that is you will most likely wind up with a team whose salary is much higher than $80 million, and you'll end up with an unbalanced roster (you might get 3 1Bs and no 3Bs, for instance). These problems you can always fix in waivers, but you might want to go ahead and rank the players in the draft list a little differently, particularly if you have some less expensive players that you really like. You might want to move them up higher in your rankings so that you will get them.

I may be flying out Thursday night....then again maybe not or maybe I'll be trapped at the airport for six hours like the last time I tried to get out of NYC.

Is there a reason we're not doing this on the fantasy sports draft site? That seems easier, and I don't see why this league needs to get started ASAP over Labor Day weekend when it's been delayed this long anyway....

If we do the standard live draft site, it will probably be another two weeks before this league gets up and running considering we have a holiday weekend coming up. That will mean almost all the Event 4 leagues will be done and the Event 5 and 6 leagues will be started before this one is even finished. People will need to know their scores from this league so they can determine whether or not to play in the later rounds in an effort to make the postseason. The TSN live draft site is the best way to get it done quickly.
