Live drafting is the most enjoyable way to draft IMO. It can be frustrating if everyone doesn't either set up proxies to pick in your absense or check in regularly to make your picks. If someone doesn't check in often or leave proxies it can be a looong process. However it is challenging and a lot of fun having to make changes to your prospective rosters along the way as your players get picked by other teams!
Live Draft hint to everyone who has never done one before. Some people pick the best available player for each of their picks and by pick 10 suddenly realize that they have no salary cap left except to pick 1m guys. I suggest making out a list, just like you would if we were doing an autodraft, and try to pick players from that. That way you know you are under the salary cap if you are lucky enough to get all the players you want. If someone else takes one of your players pencil in another player at that position. If you go down in salary at that position you could have enough cap space to upgrade at another position that you haven't picked yet. Anyway...just my 2¢.
