riggio gave away chavez to my brother for ohud...

any way u cut it, chavez is, AT BEST, a 4th round pick... i see chavez in the 17th round, and i pass on him...

ohud is a 7th round pick... there are 4-5 other 2B equivalent to him... plus hes a switch hitter, whats worse than having that?

riggio will have to hang his hopes in this league on reverse pitchers and an all lefty rotation... ooooh, an all lefty rotation... now that should be fun to break down...

ck, I posted much earlier on thread - chavez at #1 was a mistake. I expected to get Abreu.

I agree w/ a point you made ealier; I generally try to avoid switchies. However, I don't mind having 1 or 2 of them. I wanted a gold glove at 2B. That may have been a stupid move - we'll see.

I was able to draft quite a few players that I like, so I'm hoping I won't get buried. :P

Hey wait a minute now. Giddyup is Frodo. Spicki is Samwise Gamgee.

That always confuses me... Are you sure it wasn't the other way around? :lol:

cristano: i think you meant the "new east" :-)

can't i stay in the west and beat up on funkyNY, like all the other women do? Maybe I can incite him to make some more of his insightful, insecure comments about my schooling and gender! :lol:

riggio-

lets compare for a second:

[b:fe81b0ffc6]point #1:[/b:fe81b0ffc6]

boca/trot RF...
LHP = 1285
RHP = 1235
=============
TOT = 1255 for 5.36M

lwalker RF...
LHP = 1111
RHP = 1322
=============
TOT = 1238 for 5.82M

bwilk RF...
LHP = 1220
RHP = 1193
=============
TOT = 1204 for 5.94M

the above analysis has been done pitcher friendly, to give u guys the benefit of the doubt... consider trots 7 BPHR and the above blows up much worse...

[b:fe81b0ffc6]point #2:[/b:fe81b0ffc6]

ohud (drafted 1st round by riggio):
LHP = 972
RHP = 922
==============
TOT = 942 for 4.11M, rel = 1.07

akenn (drafted 7th round by cristano):
LHP = 743
RHP = 829
==============
TOT = 795 for 3.17M, rel = 1.12

acora (drafted 11th round by spicki):
LHP = 683
RHP = 802
==============
TOT = 755 for 3.10, rel = 1.08

i could go on ALL DAY humiliating u with point after point... when someone asks "wow, how did the autoleague wonder cristano1 dominant the tour after all 7 events?"... THIS IS EXACTLY HOW...

and riggio, i understand that u and luckyman have the same values and same busts in ur ranking... im sure u both do them simplistically, and incorrectly... do u guys even include OF arm in ur calculations? riggio u MUST value range incorrectly... OHUD 1st round, essentially? he is the exact same as boone, kennedy, cora, spivey/harris, blum/roberts, to name a few...

u have a team with... helton, madstritch, crawford, jeter, clark, alvarez, lowry on it... yah, lowry and alvarez and greinke and haren are nice pitchers... IF YOU ARENT PLAYING IN THE TOUR FINALS... lowrys wonderful, when he gets to face ET and his 7 righties... lowry has a 6.00 when he pitches against my team... i learned that first time i played with all the vets last year... edubose is a real nice value (edubose last year was tons better than lowry alvarez greinke haren this year), but he is SO easy to break... penn showed me that, he was in my div and broke down edubose every single time i pitched him vs him... so your staff is nice for an autoleague... i just think uve severely underestimated the competiton in our league... ET picks up even 1 or 2 lefties and ur entire rotation is fcuked...

woods,

i didn't comment on your schooling but rather how your schoolmates' reacted to your "personality". It's pretty much the same reaction you get from the SOM community at large.

As for you and the female gender, you're right, that was way off base. I'm a HUGE fan of women, and it's clearly unfair to them to lump you among their ranks.

I'm done responding to your banter. I'll let my team be my mouthpiece to you for the remainder of this season. Perhaps you'll prove to be clairvoyant. Or maybe the competition will further support my contention that you talk way too much. Either way, we'll know in 8 or 9 weeks.

To the rest of the league, I apologize for biting at woods' bait and wasting all of the hard space I've used up responding.
