Having a guy for half the season is wrong. I remember some managers that are respected when making mistakes before have not only dropped the player, but also their best player on their team to make sure they wouldn't win, but would still be competetive. What he did was wrong, and though I don't think the punishment was harsh enough, it's not like nothing was done.
On the other hand, we have a guy who tanked his entire team. Why is there no rules about this in the tour, because it's already in TSN's rules
[quote:517bf03d3e]Fair Play policy
Please be respectful of your league-mates throughout the season so that all may have a pleasant environment in which to play. The following behavior will not be tolerated:
* [b:517bf03d3e]Tanking. You may not intentionally throw games, under any circumstances.[/b:517bf03d3e]
* Collusion. You may not conspire with another manager, by making trades or by changing your team settings when playing against that team, to achieve any sort of anti-competitive goal, e.g. to help a team win, or to gang up on another team.
* Offensive language. You may not communicate with other managers in a manner that they could find offensive.
If you violate any of the above rules, at our discretion, SportingNews.com will seize control of your team and you will not be eligible for a refund. Repeat offenses will result in a ban from ever playing the game again. [/quote:517bf03d3e]
Pretty simple, one was a mistake, should have been punished harsher, but the other was a straight up violation of TSN policy, and if he doesn't fix his team, report it to Bernie so he can take it over and fix it. gstains should be banned for his reaction.
