This is my first live draft, and I am confused. Is there a time limit between picks?

As far as I know there was no time limit in the first round, and it was going to be a two hour limit thereafter.

Apparently I was wrong about the two hour clock. And as a side note,Proxies are REAL EASY to do. Last night before I went to sleep after the Bears game I made a ton of them so just in case I died in my sleep I wouldn't screw the rest of the league over. It's just the considerate thing to do.

I hate to be a whiner, but it is unfair for one disinterested person to hold the rest of the league hostage. Is there any way someone can draft for this guy?

I have to agree with Buzman, there appears to be no light at the end of the tunnel at the moment. This is why I am in favor of the "new" draft system incorporating an AI manager who execute proxies when a team owner goes AWOL. Sometimes the delays may be intentional, but I believe this is the rare case. We all have to deal with unexpected events in our daily lives that prevent us from living and breathing Stratomatic 24/7.

I'm with the gang here. Holding things up for days at the start is understandable as it took a while to fill this league. Failing to appear for a second round pick after that is not fair absent some major extenuating circumstance, particarly with a software system that the vets here have all used many times. Let's move on.
