I fully support the idea of Aray0113 as LC. I believe him to be a level-headed & fun yet competitive owner, and he has been a great owner to have in several of the keeper & theme leagues I've had the pleasure of Commishing. :)

Okay, LC lets earn your stripes! Let's get this draft going.

I am ready. Can we get everyone to confirm that they are ready to draft and verify which league we are drafting as?

OK, OK....let's get drafting already. The new draft that was set up has been stuck on #3 for 24 hours now. I will not be able to re-set my proxies until Satursday, however, I will check in from time to time in order to try and keep things moving.

PS - I think the emails on this thread have been ridiculous. I posted a note 2+ days ago identifying the problem (ArrylT having been set up with a different user name). ArrylT, you could have logged in, made a pick and kept it going. Two days later, we are still arguing. AND, I have to re-set my proxies. Silly stuff.....

We had a fiber optic cable get cut and this is my first chance to get on line. I'm ready to draft. I'll check out the new draft site.

Unbelieveable. First I thought it was normal lag. Then ArrlyT did not want tuse this handle and wanted to use AT. That was silly.

He came in set up a new draft with AT which was no big deal and everbody else is all pissed because he did. Now that is silly in itself.

We were on the 5th pick of the draft on the old draft. It is not like we were going back three or four rounds. Principles or whatever it is on both sides just get the thing going

So now we argue for two days like little school children over which draft we are going to use. Silliness

Well in one draft we have ArrlyT and he is not going to use that draft
In the new draft we have the Midgets which was arguing about which draft to use.

I guess we are stuck.

If you guys want to break this off because we all cannot play together just do so.

I am going to check the draft once a day. My proxies are not set also. If you have to wait for me, wait. If I am skipped then I am skipped but I am not going to put any effort in checking the draft daily for any progress.

I don't see anything silly about wanting to use the user name I've been using for over 3 years, and have other current draft(s) running on at the same time. It was not as if this was my first draft & I didnt like the user name given me. Furthermore I went ahead and posted my user name in advance of the draft being set up (and it was only a couple of posts above where teepack said he created the draft) so as to avoid this very situation.

If you go to a store and you buy a TV & they have the TV but give you a VCR - do you walk out of the store with the wrong product? If you order a steak dinner at a restaurant and they bring you chicken, do you eat the wrong dinner? The answer to those questions as far as I am concerned is no. You get what you asked for. AT is my user name, not whatever user name was incorrectly loaded, be it Arryl, Fred or Mud.

I am sorry for the delay this mistake caused - and for the hassle it caused anyone who loaded a ton of proxies - but I fixed the mistake by creating a new draft, and I'll continue to check in on the proper draft & routinely load proxies and you should rarely, if ever have to wait on my turn, and at most 1 hour or 90min.

Anyway - the bridge has been crossed, the mistake has been corrected & we can focus on what we actually want to do and that is draft an SOM team and play some Ball! :)

Yeah that was a mistake - when I loaded proxies last night I forgot he was in the AL :( :oops: if someone could approve my drop - i'll pick up a replacement ASAP.
