Just sent stevep a PM lettting him he has been up for a couple hours.

1. How do I verify that the draft was set up for $80 mil?
2. When I click on excluded players none come up, thought there was suppose to be some players excluded since they might be on the draft site but do not exist on TSNs version.

It would be nice to check in at some point when you sign up for a Live Draft. :roll:

Q.1: Doesn't apply. The draft isn't set up for $80M, it doesn't have to be. :?:
Q.2: I've never seen "excluded players" being used. There were some players (when '06 started) on Penn's site that wasn't in the on-line game, but they have since been excluded.

Regarding question 1, you can click on "players you've picked" and it will add up the salaries of the players you've drafted, but it's up to you to keep up with the dollars so that your remaining AD players won't go over the $80M.

Also, it it very wise and almost a necessity to go ahead and purchase your team and add in your live drafted players as you go.

As for how long we wait, it took Riggo almost 19 hours to pick. Steve has been on the clock now for 6 hours so he should have another 13 hours though also the clock is turned off for rnd 1 and on weekends so he can take quite a while if he wants. It would be nice if people checked in or give their email address to others in case they don't check the boards.

Now I know why this is my 1st ever live draft, it takes too dang long. :x

Well, I'm back from the ballfield. Looks like we're at the same point we were when I left. I'll hang around until about 10pm and see if steve makes his pick and we move on. Otherwise, it will be tomorrow afternoon before I get on again. I hate it that you guys may have to wait on me to make the turn to round 2 but I will be here a little after 4pm, that I'll guarantee. After these first 2 picks, I'll set up proxies in case we move along quicker than we've started.

I set proxies for rounds 1 and 2 so that I don't hold things up if we ever get rolling. I hate doing it and wish I didn't have to but those are the breaks. :(

For the record, I hate live drafts. I wish they weren't part of the Tour. I hate the waiting around. I'm already frustrated with this one and we haven't even made it through round 1.

The proxies work, please set them up and turn them on if you are not going to be around for a period of time. :x

Guys:

Did my pick. It is now up to Aswintheseries for the first pick in round 2.

Will do my best from now on to keep up with my place in the draft but the time difference between Australia and North America might make it difficult at times.
