Question, for the powers that be......
We know that Doug is not going to finish setting up his draft site for our use anymore. It has been mentioned that he is not doing such, because TSN doesn't "acknowledge" how much Doug's site has helped us.
I believe that without Dougs software to use, it would make all the live drafts extremely long and painfull.
I do not know Doug's reasons for shutting us out, however, I am of the belief that he is doing such for the following reason.....
TSN has now made the TOUR official. The TOUR DEPENDS (!) on Doug's software. I do not believe Doug is doing such for the $. He is doing well enough on his own. However, I DO FEEL that Doug is doing this because like I said, its official now, and its needed.
TSN should/hasta talk to him.

Agree with Loob. I have not talked to Penngray but if TSN was using my brainchild to deepen its relationship with its customers then there should be at least some kind of handshake agreement there if nothing else.

Hold off on the assumptions please!

Hey guys, let's please not make a bunch of assumptions. I exchanged PM's with Doug a few weeks back asking about using his site for the live drafts and auctions, and he told me then it would be no problem and also that he was not going to be as active this year due to family and work, etc. He also said he was glad the Tour was being made official and that I was the one who was working on it with Bernie because he just didn't have the time to do it. Bernie is aware of the situation and is going to reach out to Doug to see if there is anything that can be done. In the meantime, we are exploring alternatives for live draft sites and will keep you posted.
I hate to lose Doug as well, but I don't think this is a matter of TSN taking him for granted or ignoring his contributions - as some are trying to make it out to be. It truly appears to me that Doug has simply rearranged the priorities in his life, and SOM is not as high up as it used to be. I hope he'll stay involved, particularly as a competitor and contributor to the boards. And as I've said many times before, his auction was my favorite way to put a team together!
