As a side note since we apparently have time to kill. I took a look a Cristano's other tour teams to see if he was sand bagging us with his Beltran fan club.

Just an FYI he's used Jones on 5 of his 6 tour teams. No sign of Beltran. He must have just recently got his fan club card.

on all 6 of my teams i went for beltran in the auto draft, or for him in the live draft... i got him on 2 teams, used him on one, traded him for a great deal on the other, and missed on him on the other 4... the cf market goes like this... beltran 10 out of 10, ajones 8.5 out of 10, thunter 7 out of 10, edmonds 4 out of 10, everyone else 0 out of 10... so this draft, like other previous drafts, i had zero choice... beltran went, and i was forced to take ajones... if i had first pick in this draft, id have selected beltran hands down... i dont understand how he doesnt go 1 or 2 in every single draft...

Beltran is over-rated, IMHO. I have used him once or twice this year and he underperformed. He is great against RH pitching but not so great against LH pitching.

i have him as the highest impact player in the set, by over 10% to pujolus and almost 25% to jeter
he is very very difficult to use on the same team as pujols so i will be interested to see how azhawg pulls that one off...

Well if someone is checking teams, I think I chose someone that I have chosen in every, or almost every team I have. Escobar- I am a big fan.

yah escobar is very nice... but somewhat of a risk in a champions league, where the talent is high (in theory anyway)... especially for you, who was #1 or #2 in tour win pct... playing boys who get injured for 15 games is somewhat risky... so do tell, chipper jones 4th pick overall... hows that work? i figured u messed up and proxied the wrong jones...

Yeah I like to live on the edge.... I take a couple of these types just to make life exciting.

Regarding Beltran, I think we can all agree he has one of the best cards in the set, now whether or not thats worth 15% of your team salary thats debateable.
