Thanks for posting all the stadiums that've been used guys. Not that it helped me at all as I watched my first 2 choices get snagged anyways! A pox on you [b:e9046cdf92]Stoney[/b:e9046cdf92] and [b:e9046cdf92]Doogie Howser[/b:e9046cdf92]! :evil: Sure wish I could figure out where [b:e9046cdf92]Mesquiton[/b:e9046cdf92] is going with his club?

Been awhile since I've been involved in a live draft and I've really enjoyed this one. I know that for some of you with less patience, this can be a frustrating experience. For me however, the real enjoyment of this game is the team building aspect... once the season begins I tend to lose interest and shift focus to my next team. Hence, a live draft tends to enhance the part I like best!

I just made my last pick. The draft should be done today. By saying this is that I will try to get my team in today so we can start on Monday. It is late for me now and I am in the west, but hopefully I can get it in for a Monday start.

If you like this part the most coffee then you should try doing what a bunch of us are doing in the ATGs. We're doing a bidding league and it's been a ton of fun. We've been doing the bidding for over a month now, and still has a ways to go. The way we look at it is it's great bang for your buck! Slow process but a ton of fun if you have the patience. If you ever want to get involved we could try setting one up with the new cards. If interested let me know and I'll give you some more info.

An auction league used to be part of the Tour. There was an option for auction drafts on the SOMDraft site, before Major Deegan took it over. I thought it was very cool. A bit more complicated than regular live drafts, but also with a built-in timer that automatically kept things moving, as I recall, so took about the same amount of time as an average live draft. Those who liked it tended to love it. Don't know how hard it would be or if Major would consider re-activating it.

IV. Champions League

The 12 Managers that advance from the Semi-Finals round (see conditions above) will play in a year-end Champions League to determine the overall Champion.[b:7c1ce06104] The format for the Champions League is: $80 million salary cap, DH, 16-round live draft, unique ballpark[/b:7c1ce06104]s. The draft order will be determined by your overall standings in the Tournament. The #1 player in point totals will be given his "choice" of draft order, and then the #2 player will choose his "choice" of draft order and on down the line until each player has a draft position. We will not use lotto picks for the Champions League. This is to give due rewards for your overall tournament placement.


I just woke up early in the morn for me on Saturday to try to get my team in.

I went ahead and made my picks, but I want to make sure the reason we did not get the league loaded is no way my fault. Still a little pissed, but let's get this thing on the road.
