WOW, the story of tonight is already found: in league 5:

[size=18:d56454d2cb]J-PAV makes the playoffs with a 78-84 record!!!![/size:d56454d2cb] :shock:

How bad is THAT!!! What a steal!!

BthnyBchBum has to go home with a 84-78 record. LOL. He can't hardly complain, though: he had destiny in his own hand for the Wild-card spot, but stumbled losing 2 out of 3 to miss the playoffs.

I think that a lot of followers are not complaining that BthnyBchBum now has to watch J-Pav take Jake the snake.

Speaking of impressive, anyone noticed the outstanding run by sknsfan's team in this event. Heading for 110 wins or so, lead by J.Lugo (ss3e25) backed up by Nomaaaaaaaar (ss4e42). Who's the weirdo who said that defense pays in these leagues!!!

In Fenway, with two lefty pitchers, just to silence those damned intellect-berticians!!!!

Woooohoooooooooo!! I won my game---won two actually!!!

The importance of divisional games (and of setting your team against your divisional opponents)!!! I was 7 games back with 30 games left in the season, and here I am, making the playoffs, despite a 40-50 record outside my division!! 8)

Alright, time to turn the pages on 34 blown saves and look for a new season!!!

Without Ensberg for game 1 though. :cry:

Eight teams in the league under .500!

Fortunately, I was only one of three teams to have a winning record on the road (at 41-40)!

Hey [b:49d1014a26]lucky[/b:49d1014a26], now that you sealed up your Top 12 spot, you can play some of the fellas over in the deep end now! :wink:

Check out sksfan's bench: .302 AVG, .375 OBP, .454 SLG in more than 350 plate appearances. That's a nice boost in a no-DH league. He's still on pace for 104-105 wins with 18 to go. That's about the best I've seen in an 80M league.
