Congrats to all those who have made it to the semifinals. Remember, this league is a standard $80 million, autodraft, DH. Go ahead and create and then start filling the leagues as soon as you can. We'll have to wait on League 1 a little while longer to see who gets that final spot.

I wasn't thinking clearly when I made the original assignments. We will go with the proposal as put forth by dadnsam further down this thread. The assignments are now listed below.

Hey [b:abf8fed3a1]Tee[/b:abf8fed3a1],

Are we drafting stadiums? Are we filling the leagues as first come, or are the divisions in the order laid out by UNC in the other thread?

Do we have to worry about ranking's in the league's or just first come first serve.

wow, we must have had the same thought at the same time. Also can we re-use a ball park again.

Ballpark Rules from the tournament page

X. Ballpark Requirement

Managers will be required to play in a different ballpark for each Event of the Tournament Schedule, including the Champions League. You may not pick the same park twice. If you do pick a park that you have used before, you will be fined 25 points off your total. In addition, all live draft leagues will require unique ballparks (i.e. two managers in the same league can’t use the same ballpark).

Wouldn't it be more fair to seed the divisions in each league in a serpentine style similar to how the league seedings were created?

Currently the east division in each league has the 4 highest seeded teams fighting it out while the west in each league has the 4 lowest seeded teams.

I would suggest the following:

League 1

East
1. Deelyo
18. Jack377
19. AZHawg
36. mfsleeze
or
barnak

Central
6. UNCtarheel
13. socalchiro
24. leehaak
31. Roscodog

West
7. weinberg
12. rgimbel
25. deeznuts515
30. wwwetz

League 2

East
2. spicki17
17. akindian
20. mesquiton
35. Jeepdriver

Central
5. jmoore1966
14. ajbke5
23. edgecitytx
32. Dhowser

West
8. J-Pav
11. bigmahon
26. Sykes25
29. Coffeeholic

League 3
East
3. springer0432
16. Dalinoth
21. exwallman
34. salmonbellies

Central
4. stevep107
15. Stoney18
22. thisisdan26
33. dadnsam

West
9. luckeroll
10. bbasebrawl
27. JAMIE399
28. bob711

Just a suggestion, happy to still be playing regardless......................

As much as I'd prefer to have the lower-seeded managers in my division (no offense to anyone!), it seems counterintuitive not to reward the top performers by putting them in divisions with lower-seeded teams, a la the NCAA -- as demonstrated above.

I have to agree with dadnsam about the seeding. Under Teepack's original groupings I would be in the same division as Deelyo while lower seeded teams were being grouped with even weaker competition (as based upon the final standings). The top nine seeds should definitely be the highest ranked teams in their respective divisions.

Agree with the posters above. The way TeePack seeded the divisions, 6 of the top 12 qualifiers are [b:bf8b278000]guaranteed[/b:bf8b278000] not to make the final round, and more likely, about 8 will miss out. Dadnsam's format is closer to what I expected.

Agreed. Tee's seedings are not appropriate. Top finishers shouldn't be penalized for doing well.
