At 67-74, I had all but given up on my Event 1, Lg 2 SoulStars and any thoughts of competing in the overall Tour standings this year. Then came the last ditch seemingly minor roster tweaks at 9:55 the night of the deadline.

Hello 16 game winning streak to set up a series at the division leader for a playoff spot (both teams long shots for a wildcard berth). Two games behind, but holding the head to head tiebreaker, we needed to win the series to tie and thus squeak by.

Somehow it was the 6th series sweep out of 7 and there was my ragtag team at 87-75, sitting atop the standings the next morning. A 20-1 kick down the stretch.
