but I look at splits and compare the cards. Some pitchers get rung more one way than the other, HR's or otherwise. I have Curt Young, for ex, through 3 starts where he's giving up hit and inning, has allowed 4 HR's to RH'ers, 0 to LH'ers, and is holding LH's to sub-.200 BA. Looks like his 6L card to me (can't remember the year), because he shuts down LH's and doesn't allow the dinger, either (on some other years, he allows to both). I'm sure someone here has a more quantitative way to do it, though.
