His arm will fall off

HAL is using Clear a LOT for one of my teams (can't bvlame him, considering the specialization in my pen). Mark has 168 K's (7th in the league). I doubt he'll make 200, but 188 or 190 is a distinct possibility. What's the record for K's by a reliever anyway? Anyone know? I seem to remember a year or two where Smith or Orosco tossed 200-300 innings.

I just finished up a season where used Bruce Sutter
for 188.2 IP, with 186K's... maybe HAL's on a streak.

Actual record holder: Dick Radatz

The actual record is held by Dick Radatz, who got 181 for the Red Sox in 1964. The NL record is Brad Lidge, who got 157 for Houston in 2004.

Sorry, I was referring to Strat leagues

Thanks for the real life info on relievers. I mentioned Orosco and Smith before because I was pretty sure someone managed to get an insane number of innings out of one of them and a ton of K's in a strat league. Clear might get 200 K's for me in that league. He's cleared 190 by now. Not surprised by the Radatz numbers. Dude could bring it, I guess. I use him a lot in computer leagues.
