Just an odd quirk I have found when searching for guys who have or have not been hit by a pitch. I have one player I just picked up (Joel Youngblood) who has a total of six at-bats - 3 vs. LHP and 3 vs. RHP. He went 1-3 against both. But mysteriously, vs. LHP he has BA/SLG/OBP of .333/.333/.333; vs. RHP, .333/.333/.250. Where is this fourth plate appearance vs. RHP? He had a Sac Fly . . . so this doesn't count as an AB, counts against your OBP? Is there no other way to find out if you have been HBP? That has been one way I have been eliminating years . . . if you had been hit by a pitch, then you can eliminate any years the player didn't get hit . . .
