Through 27 games he's posted these stats:

AB H 2b 3b HR RBI BB SO AVG SLG OBP

vs. L 25 15 4 0 1 5 1 0 .600 .880 .615
vs. R 90 20 6 1 3 11 5 10 .222 .411 . 260

I'm playing at Tiger Stadium. The link is: http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/80s/team/team.html?stats=splits

He's crucifying me against Right Handers, but according to Retro-Sheet none of his years (78, 80, 81, 82, & 83) were even close to this bad. Any advice???

Thanks

I wish I could tell you that I had one team where none of the players seriously underperformed one of his cards. stick with him at least till the day before the 41 game mark.

What type of RHPs is Maddog facing?

Hard "R" tilts type SPs like Kison and Leonard?

You may find that he isn't getting the dice rolls off his card. If so, keep him on the roster through the 39th game and perhaps HAL will either injure him or something jumps out (more triples?).

'83 he does have much better numbers against LHPs.
Can you afford to just use him against LHPs for awhile. Don't pinch hit for him against RHPs, just start him on the bench in those games and see what happens to his numbers then.
