Quite Possibly the worst outfielder in recent memory

Chris Duncan may be the worst right fielder since the '70's when the Twins had Willie Norwood. At 44 years of age, and an infielder by trade, I would have made both catches that Duncan missed tonight. How can the official scorer rule Casey's fly ball a double. Horrible call.

So why did LaRussa have him in right and Taguchi in left?

Just because a team wins the world series doesn't mean the manager is a genius. I've never been found of LaRussa's management style. Duncan is a DH and belongs in the American League. I know people will argue that he is really a first basemen, but watching him move on the baseball field leads me to believe he isn't much good there either.

I hate to agree with Tim McCarver, but he was right when he said LaRussa should have pulled Duncan after his first error in right.
