10/29 Game Issues

Postby jsam9801 » Mon Oct 30, 2006 9:39 am

Houston, we had a problem last night.

I made a few pickups and roster changes. To the extent I inserted a new pickup into the lineup, he did not play.

For example, I picked up Tom Paciorek to play LF, but Todd "Mercedes" Benzinger played instead. Anyone else have issues?

I noticed today that I can still change my pitchers in Per-Game Starters for the 3 games that were played last night. The front-office shows that the correct set of games are going to be played.

However, my pickups from yesterday did play in the games last night (unfortunately it turns out).

I had problems last night also. I made four roster moves. All four were put into lineups either L or R. Two of them did not get played by the computer? These moves and changes were made well before 10PM

What does this do for tonights pitching rotation? Should the computer correct itself and we can stick with our original roatation or is that shot now?

The problem was isolated to last night's games, and should not affect tonight's games. You can be assured that things will operate as usual tonight.

Sorry about what happened last night, everyone. There's just no excuse, after I put a safeguard mechanism in place a few months ago. Apparently it does not overcome a dead cell-phone battery.

Bernie:

Thanks for the update. No problem...we know that you are burning the midnight oil while creating the new BTT70s edition. :D
